Your pretty average for your height but I know many people in grade 9 who can dunk. First find out your flexibility, strength, and your vert. I’m also 14 and I have bad flexibility so I can’t go all the way down when doing squats. I suggest you do lateral cone hops 40 a day maybe split into 2 times and do as many squats as you can in perfect form. If you want faster results then exercise your toes and form a 6 pack.

Well i’m a basketball player and with my experience i agree with the other u need to ge explosive when u go up, because is when u get the power to jump if u go down your working for nothing. well i’m 168cm i’m 14 years old i’m guard on my team i need some advices, and a big train to dunck… i can only pull the net xD

is it necessary to do the reg squats and up slow quick downs? can you do lets say like 5-10 reg squats and the rest of your squats will be like 30 jumping squats? and do you do these exercises daily or every other day?
